Destination: Hearst Castle

Actually I just came back from Hearst Castle last night. This two-day trip was right after my three-day trip to Mendocino. I drove a total of over 1500 miles along California coast (both ways).

Number of photos taken:
Day 1: 387
Day 2: 192
Day 3: 326
Day 4: 242
Day 5: 811
Total: 1958

A lot of work to go through them. The trips were fantastic, even though I despise driving.

Movie Review: Cashback

This movie has one of the worst titles. Despite a decent rating on Netflix, I hesitated to watch it because the title is so blah. But if that doesn't get your attention, this might: this movie has more nudity scenes than my fingers can count.

But surprisingly the nude scenes didn't really distract the story and they are placed naturally in the film. The story development is interesting but not too hard to predict. If it was produced in USA, there is no doubt, no doubt that some of the scenes will feel perverted in someway. The film looks low budget and retro, but some of the special effects integrated very well and hardly noticeable. It's a good comedy if it's not very obvious to those who are new to British humor.

Now I need to learn how to paint...

Verdict: Watch it.

Destination: Mendocino, CA

I am heading out to Mendocino tomorrow with a friend. Mendocino is known for its coastlines, "river valleys, forested ridges, and dizzying cliffs." It's probably not the best time to visit there (as it will be cold!), but it will be a quite unique experience compare to going there during the touristy season.

I shall take many, many photos during this trip, and put my good 'n faithful D80 to good use.
